Rev. Jeff Waters, Pastor

It is an honor and pleasure to be the pastor of Broad Street Baptist Church.  God led me to be the pastor of this church in June of 2007.  I graduated from Brewton-Parker College with a degree in History in 1998 and then moved with my family to Wake Forest, NC to attend Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Previously, I was the Associate Pastor of Youth at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Hopewell, VA and the pastor of Zoar Baptist Church in Baxley, GA.  My beautiful wife’s name is Jennifer and we have three children, Johnathan, Joshua, and Julia Grace.  I have no doubt that God’s hand is on this church.  I can’t wait to see what God is going to do here in Hawkinsville and around the world through Broad Street!

Mr. Eric Woods,Associate Pastor, Worship and Music

After answering God's call on my life for full-time music ministry, my family and I are so excited to have landed here in Hawkinsville, GA.  Upon completion of my Bachelor's degree in music with a concentration in Church music at Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, GA, God in His infinite grace led me and my family to Broad Street Baptist Church in January of 2008.  My wife Patty, and our children Amanda, Joshua, Jeremy, Jay, Emily and I are excited about what God is doing here at Broad Street.  

I have served the Lord as a bi-vocational music minister in several churches in Tennessee and Georgia before answering His full–time call.  My education also includes an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Clayton State College in Morrow, GA.  I enjoy singing, playing guitar and piano, many sports, and most of all, spending time with my family.

Mr. Billie Dantzler,Associate Pastor, Minister of Students

I am first in love with God and a determined follower of Christ Jesus, my ultimate authority.  I am second, since May of 2000, the husband of Shana Dantzler – my University of Southern Mississippi sweetheart.  Our first daughter, JennahKay, was born while receiving my Master’s at Southwestern Seminary; since then, God has given us two more daughters, Lorahbeth and AudreyAnn.  I began my third decade of life recently and celebrated my tenth year as a youth pastor, arriving at Broad Street in February 2005.  My passions are to walk faithfully with my Lord, love deeply the bride of my life and dreams, adore and raise my girls to trust and follow Jesus Christ, and be a part of sending young people on the journey of becoming what I call “lifelong disciples” of Jesus Christ.
