Meet our Pastoral Staff
It is an honor and pleasure to be the pastor of Broad Street Baptist Church. God led me to be the pastor of this church in June of 2007. I graduated from Brewton-Parker College with a degree in History in 1998 and then moved with my family to Wake Forest, NC to attend Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In the Spring of 2018, I graduated with a Doctor of Ministry Degree with a specialization in Church Revitalization from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Previously, I was the Associate Pastor of Youth at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Hopewell, VA and the pastor of Zoar Baptist Church in Baxley, GA. My beautiful wife's name is Jennifer and we have three children: Johnathan, Joshua, and Julia Grace. I have no doubt that God's hand is on this church. I can't wait to see what God's going to do here in Hawkinsville and around the world through Broad Street!
As the Minister of Students and Activities, I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for our Broad Street Family! I graduated from Brewton-Parker College in May of 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. After a few years working in Corporate America, I recognized, and accepted the call to ministry. I graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in December 2018 with a Master of Arts in Christian Education. Previously, I have served as a Student Minister at Williams Boulevard Baptist Church in Kenner, LA and held the same position at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Livingston, LA. My wife, Ashley, and I married in 2012, and we have three awesome children: Ryleigh, Graeme, and Breland Kate. Evidence points towards God's grace being upon Broad Street! The time is now to join the race and impact Hawkinsville and beyond for Jesus Christ!
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; Psalm 98:4.
We are created, commanded and compelled to sing with our heart, mind, family and local church in worship to the one and true God of the universe. As the music minister, this understanding and execution are my missions for worship through singing. I assumed the role of Minister of Music in May 2019. I’ve served in music ministry for over 10 years and am thankful I can continue to learn new things every week! I’m joined in singing by my wife Mindy and our three children Camile, Baker and Paul.
I look forward to singing with you!
