In 2013 Broad Street sought to adopt a people group of the world who had no direct access to the gospel of Jesus Christ. God lead us to adopt the Saek people of SE Asia. The Saek have a population of roughly 35,000; they are considered to be unreached, and unengaged with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
As of 2019, members of Broad Street were able to meet and speak with Saek villagers! Through the help of our interpreter, we learned quite a bit about their culture! Our prayer is to see a replicating church of godly believers among the Saek people! And in God's timing, we hope to make another journey to see them.
