Our Adopted People
In 2013 Broad Street sought to adopt a people group of the world who had no direct access to the gospel of Jesus Christ. God lead us to adopt a people group of SE Asia. This people group has a population of roughly 35,000; they are considered to be unreached, and unengaged with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In 2019, members of Broad Street were able to meet and speak with villagers of our people group for the first time! Through the help of our interpreter, we learned quite a bit about their culture! Through the prayers and support of God's people at Broad Street, we have seen over 20 come to faith in Jesus Christ through the work of missionaries on the field. We still pray for the establishment of leadership within this group so it becomes an independent local church!
